Electrical Picnic

Our Department of first year electrical of Jigme Namgyel Engineering College  organized a picnic on April 22, 2018 . The rekhay  bus, fully packed with students headed for rekhay. we were extremely excited to reach the destination. All the students kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue.

 As the student reach the place student were served with Tea and biscuits by class representative Thinley Norbu and few other students who reached the placed a day before.

All the students were divided work among them so it took no longer than an hour or two for cooking all the items. All the cooking was done all together lead by the Thinley Wangchuk as head cook.  The cooking was all over and we gather to celebrate the moment and make it remarkable.

All the students form the circle and played music and danced on the floor with great energy on the thumping dance numbers. Even the i could not resist the luring temptation of the dance floo. We play ball passing game and whoever hold the ball when music is off was to dance on a music. All the students  got chance to dance on that game. I was also among all who was to dance on a music owing to the fact that I haven't dance before I discovered the new dance moves today. 


After the dance and drinks, all the students went for the lunch. All were self served and most of us seeing the delicious curry and pickle took put double of what we could take. We sat on ground all together and ate. some of could not leave the delicious curry although chilli in  curry was little hot so  took the food by taking mineral water.  After taking food we dance again and took drink, some took hard and some cold drinks then dance on a music.  Some capture photos to keep the remarkable memories of being in First year electrical at Jigme Namgyel Engineering College.

The moment of celebration was all over and time to move back to college had arrived. Since the bus was not there during the our way back to college we came by foot enjoy the  walk altogether.  All the students enjoyed the day. Tshering Pem (Swiftie), one of our electrical student said " The day, 22nd April just took few pages of my diary." She added "It was filled with laughters and smiles. With no worries on my mind, it came to an end. I didn't even know it's 5 pm when I read the timing on my watch. It was a beautiful day, it was a beautiful picnic."
 Although some of the friend miss the celebration i am really happy  with our Electrical first year friends for the cooperation and for collaboratively doing that work at picnic spot.
