COVID-19: Let us join hands!

His Majesty, against all odds travel to high risk areas to ensure that all Bhutanese are safe and sound.

His Excellency the Prime Minister and his team continues to spend sleepless nights.

Medical & Health workers continue to face challenges every day. Likewise, there are many who are on the frontline everyday to ensure that we get to live well.

But can’t we all join the fight against the pandemic?

Each of us can make a difference in ensuring that COVID-19 pandemic is sustained or at least prevent it from spreading. Few of the things that we can do in order to combat this pandemic are:
1) Do not travel. If you must, then please be honest and declare your travel history.
2) Maintain social distancing; avoid crowd.
3) Frequently wash hands with soap.
4) Avoid touching mouth, nose and eyes.
5) Do not spread rumors.
6) Do not read/watch COVID-19 related news from unknown or untrustworthy sources.
7) Use hand sanitizers when it is not possible for you to wash hands with soap.
8) Practice good hygiene; practice patience.
9) Support the community and the local government in whatever way possible.
10) Do not show hostility towards foreigners.

And, most importantly, stop spreading negative energy and criticism on the decisions made by the Government and the Health Sector.

Let us fight against the spread of COVID-19 together, as ONE!
