Trongsa Man Allegedly Murders Mother-in-Law in Domestic Dispute

In a shocking turn of events, a man in his early 30s has been accused of brutally murdering his mother-in-law in Trongsa. The tragic incident took place at approximately 6 pm on Tuesday in Semji village, according to sources. The man allegedly struck his mother-in-law, who was in her early 50s, on the head with a knife. The police were notified about the incident three hours later.
Sources indicate that the man had instigated a fight with his wife earlier that evening. When his wife did not react, he left the hut momentarily, only to return later. However, upon his return, he found the mother and daughter had secured the door. Allegedly, the man threatened to break down the door, prompting the mother-in-law to open it.

It is reported that this is when the man allegedly attacked the mother-in-law with a knife. Tragically, she was unable to find refuge inside the hut and succumbed to her injuries outside.

Following the horrifying incident, the man reportedly tied his wife's hands and legs with a Kera, a traditional Bhutanese rope. However, the wife managed to break free from her restraints and sought help from their neighbors after the man had left the hut.

The local authorities are currently investigating the case to gather more details and ascertain the motive behind this heinous act.
