Bhutan Red Cross Society Volunteers Commemorate 116th Natiional Day with Remarkable Contributions

In a heartwarming display of unity and generosity, the volunteers of Bhutan Red Cross Society  in various branches, including Thimphu, Merak Sub Branch, and Trongsa, came together to celebrate the 116th National Day with a series of voluntary services. Their unwavering dedication and invaluable contributions truly exemplified the essence of volunteerism and left a lasting impact on the community.
The Bhutan Red Cross Society, known for its humanitarian efforts and commitment to helping those in need, expressed their gratitude towards the selfless volunteers who wholeheartedly dedicated their time and energy to make the National Day celebration a memorable one. Electrical Picnic

Our Department of first year electrical of Jigme Namgyel Engineering College   organized a picnic on April 22, 2018 . The rekhay  bus, fully packed with students headed for rekhay. we were extremely excited to reach the destination. All the students kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue.  As the student reach the place student were served with Tea and biscuits by class representative Thinley Norbu and few other students who reached the placed a day before. All the students were divided work among them so it took no longer than an hour or two for cooking all the items. All the cooking was done all together lead by the Thinley Wangchuk as head cook.  The cooking was all over and we gather to celebrate the moment and make it remarkable. Dalai Lama Congratulates Bhutanese Prime Minister-Elect

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has sent a warm message of congratulations to Dasho Tshering Tobgay, the Prime Minister-Elect of Bhutan. In his letter, the Dalai Lama acknowledged the historic relationship between the Tibetan and Bhutanese people, and commended Bhutan's progress in democratic governance.
