The race has reached a fever pitch between the People's Democratic Party - PDP and the Bhutan Tendrel Party - BTP, both of whom are optimistic about securing victory with their ambitious plans to revive the economy.
The PDP, determined to reclaim power, has unveiled a groundbreaking stimulus plan worth Nu.15 billion, with a primary focus on rejuvenating the economy and empowering local businesses. The initiative includes a range of key highlights, such as special loan schemes and support for downstream industries, accelerated support for startups and Cottage and Small Industries (CSIs), promotion of export businesses, liquidity injection into financial institutions, and special measures catered to various sectors.

By providing support and fostering an environment conducive to their development, the party aims to unleash their full potential and create a thriving entrepreneurial landscape.

Meanwhile, the Bhutan Tendrel Party (BTP) has also presented an ambitious economic revitalization plan, although specific details have yet to be revealed. The party's supporters remain hopeful that their proposed strategies willpropel Bhutan towards sustainable economic growth, job creation, and enhanced livelihoods. The BTP has emphasized the need for inclusive and equitable economic development, with an emphasis on environmental sustainability and the well-being of Bhutan's citizens.
