PDP President Dasho Tshering Tobgay Expresses Gratitude and Outlines Commitments in Final Election Campaign Message

In the midst of his final campaign push for the General Election 2023, the President of the People's Democratic Party - PDP, Dasho Tshering Tobgay, took a moment to express his gratitude and convey essential messages to the people of Bhutan. 

With deep respect and heartfelt thanks, Dasho Tshering Tobgay acknowledged and appreciated the unwavering support received from the citizens who had rallied behind him and the PDP. Their unwavering commitment and dedication had been instrumental throughout the campaign journey.

Over the course of the intense 26-day campaign, Dasho Tshering Tobgay and his team had tirelessly worked, dedicating approximately 16 hours each day. They traversed the country, conducting a total of 65 meetings across 47 constituencies. Regardless of the election's outcome, Dasho Tshering Tobgay expressed his pride and satisfaction in his team of 47 candidates and the dynamic individuals at the party office, who had left no stone unturned in their efforts.

Looking towards the future, Dasho Tshering Tobgay assured the people of Bhutan that if entrusted with the responsibility of forming the government, the PDP would earnestly work towards fulfilling their commitments to enhance the prosperity of the cherished Druk Yul. Under Dasho Tshering Tobgay's leadership, the party pledged to focus on initiatives that would elevate the nation's overall well-being and ensure a brighter future for all citizens.

Electrical Picnic

Our Department of first year electrical of Jigme Namgyel Engineering College   organized a picnic on April 22, 2018 . The rekhay  bus, fully packed with students headed for rekhay. we were extremely excited to reach the destination. All the students kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue.  As the student reach the place student were served with Tea and biscuits by class representative Thinley Norbu and few other students who reached the placed a day before. All the students were divided work among them so it took no longer than an hour or two for cooking all the items. All the cooking was done all together lead by the Thinley Wangchuk as head cook.  The cooking was all over and we gather to celebrate the moment and make it remarkable. Dalai Lama Congratulates Bhutanese Prime Minister-Elect

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has sent a warm message of congratulations to Dasho Tshering Tobgay, the Prime Minister-Elect of Bhutan. In his letter, the Dalai Lama acknowledged the historic relationship between the Tibetan and Bhutanese people, and commended Bhutan's progress in democratic governance.
