Majestic Presence at Lungtenzampa School's Golden Jubilee Celebrations

On 1st August , a momentous occasion unfolded as His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen graced the Lungtenzampa School's Golden Jubilee celebrations. The esteemed presence of Their Majesties added a regal touch to the event, especially considering that they themselves are alumni of this renowned educational institution.
Joining in the festivities were also Their Royal Highnesses Princess Sonam Dechan Wangchuck, Princess Dechen Yangzom Wangchuck, and Princess Eeuphelma Choden Wangchuck, all of whom have walked the halls of Lungtenzampa school. Former teachers and students who have been part of the school's journey over the last 50 years were also in attendance, creating a heartwarming sense of reunion.
The origins of Lungtenzampa school can be traced back to its inception as Thimphu Nursery School in 1972, under the guidance of its first principal, Mrs. Carolyn Tshering. Since then, the school has flourished, molding young minds and contributing to the education landscape of the region.

In a gesture that will forever be etched in the school's history, His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen bestowed the Golden Jubilee Tennis Court as a gift to Lungtenzampa school. Electrical Picnic

Our Department of first year electrical of Jigme Namgyel Engineering College   organized a picnic on April 22, 2018 . The rekhay  bus, fully packed with students headed for rekhay. we were extremely excited to reach the destination. All the students kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue.  As the student reach the place student were served with Tea and biscuits by class representative Thinley Norbu and few other students who reached the placed a day before. All the students were divided work among them so it took no longer than an hour or two for cooking all the items. All the cooking was done all together lead by the Thinley Wangchuk as head cook.  The cooking was all over and we gather to celebrate the moment and make it remarkable. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has sent a warm message of congratulations to Dasho Tshering Tobgay, the Prime Minister-Elect of Bhutan.
