On 30th August 2023, the Narcotic Drugs and Law Enforcement Unit made a significant breakthrough in their ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking. Two men and a woman, aged between 26 to 29 years, were apprehended for their involvement in the illicit trafficking of drugs from Yoeselpang, Thimphu. The operation unfolded when the enforcement team intercepted a Bolero pickup truck at the Yoeselpang vegetable shed.
